Birding is also very popular on Damon Point, so bring a pair of binoculars if you have them. While on Damon Point, keep an eye out for Mount Rainier in the distance. The beach extends out for about two miles, with the end being Damon Point. There is a really nice beach near the parking lot that is perfect for picnicking, beachcombing, and relaxing. Damon Point is another fun place to hang out, which is by the North Jetty.
